I thought it was a joke, too.

But the taillights look tinted.

But maybe Chevy just made aftermarket-looking taillights, like they did with the Sonic.

But even those had clear colors, so these still look tinted. Tinted taillights aren't really flashy and they're just a dumb thing to do, so they're not likely to be done jokingly.

But they didn't even remove the stock covers from the wheel, which I think they would if this was serious.

Who the fuck knows.
